The summer staff at the Sooke Visitor Centre recently participated in an Immersive glass art experience to better understand the local community and assist travelers.
The team consisting of Chloe Unger, Francis Barss, and Noah Easton visited a working glass studio, where hey saw and participated in the creation of unique pieces of glass. Shards Glass Studio and Susan Isaac Design, located on Otter Point Road, welcomed staff members.
During their educational visit, the team bent spaghetti glass and enjoyed homemade muffins while engaging in lively conversations.
Shards Glass Studio offers beginner fused glass workshops to the public. These workshops require no prior experience, and groups of four to eight individuals can schedule sessions at their convenience.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the studio and witness the ongoing projects and masterpieces on display every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, visit susanisaacdesign.com.
